Car Maintenance!

Last night after supper Jared and I took the kids out to the shop to help us do some much needed upkeep on our vehicles!  I put Armin in his runner's stroller and gave him some toys to play with, he decided instead to munch on the leaves that had blown into his stroller!!  Calum got right to work "fixing" things around the shop, Emry cleaned all the outside and inside windows on the van, and I tried to pay attention to Jared draining the oil so that I could do it next time!  While Jared was busy with the oil I decided to vacuum out the van!  

We had lots of fun, the van finally got an oil change after being 20,000 kilometers over due, the leak in the front tire is no more, and the struts in the rear no longer bounce us to the point of wanting to throw up!  After we finished with the van we drove Jared's car in to have the oil changed as well!  Again while he was busy with the oil Emry and I cleaned out his car, and boy what a mess!  Calum decided to busy himself with the creeper and used it as a skate board!  Armin was still in his stroller now eating cheerios and just hanging out!  

Armin really is the best baby ever!  I had to keep looking around for him to see if he was even there, he is so quiet and so content!  After being out for over 2 hours I didn't hear a peep from little Armin at all!

It was nice to be able to spend time together doing something that really isn't a lot of fun but really needs to be done.  I love my little family and I am thankful for the time we can spend together!
