Emry was able to pretty much finish off the basketball season before her wrist surgery. This year the team didn't play in a league but were able to go to 4 tournaments. She missed most of the first one due to other commitments we had but played in the next two. She did well, and like last year, her confidence increased the more she played. She made a few baskets, dribbled the ball and just had fun. She missed playing with Leah as she moved onto Grade 10 but we have enjoyed watching her high school games when we can!!
Emry's wrist surgery happened to be the Thursday before her team's last tournament. She really wanted to go and cheer them on but she just wasn't feeling up to it. She was able to make new friends and strengthen the bond between old ones. It was a great year and she is already looking forward to the next season.
