Coach Pitch and T-Ball

Last Friday the boys had another Baseball Tournament, this one was held in Champion!! It was a great night, not too hot and not too cold, though the wind could have been a little warmer for my liking...actually there was a weather advisory out for our area to be aware of funnel clouds!!  The boys did great.  Calum had some good hits and Armin too.  Armin is definitely our little runner and really gave it his all.  Calum looks like he's been batting for years, he takes practice swings and hits his bat down on home plate as he gets into position to bat.  The coaches are great and do their best to give everyone an equal turn and they even mix the kids up out in the field so everyone can have a chance playing each position.

During our 2 hour break before they played again we took the kids over to the camp ground park where they played all sorts of make believe games, usually involving tree branches as guns and girls as the prisoners.  They also climbed trees and Calum was so proud of himself for climbing as high as he did!  He's not a fan of heights!! He wants me to take him back there and video him climbing the tree for his talent for the school talent show at the end of June!! 

 

 

Overall it was a great night!  The boys had a great time with their team mates and the coaches did an exceptional job teaching the kids while letting them have fun!

 

 

While opening her water bottle, Emry spilled a little water onto the table, so not an uncommon occurrence for Emry!!! The shape the water splashed onto the table gave us all quite a chuckle!  It looked just like a happy face!
